Saga of the Exotic Flamingo—Lessons from the Pink Flamingo Bird

Some young girls are enamored by horses, others by mermaids, but my fascination has
always been with flamingos. Perhaps this is because my family pets as a child were birds.
Although I learned early on that the concept of birdbrain was ill conceived, my experience
has led me to believe most birds are quite intelligent.
