Heather Originally got certified as a personal trainer in 1994 through American Council of Exercise and the American College of Sports Medicine.

In 1993 Heather started competing on the international circuit of adventure racing. Her races would often cover 350-400 miles via kayaking, mountain biking, caving, mountaineering. She competed in 1995 in the first summer X-Games in Newport Rhode Island. In 1999 she started designing and running time trials for race owners.

In 1999 Heather got her AA degree in Fire Science and got certified as a EMT. Heather worked as a Fire fighter on the Hot Shot crews and in 2003 was hired on with the L.A. City Fire Dept. Heather suffered a career changing spinal injury and has come back full circle to her first passion of training people in sports and fitness, she has currently certified through International Sports Science Association (ISSA). Heather is passionate about motivating and helping others succeed with their goals and dreams and she believes if you want something bad enough you will push your limits to reach that goal or dream.

Heather also owns and operates her adventure company called AOQ: The Journey. She takes people out kayaking, teaches rock climbing/ rappelling and hiking adventures.
